Sikkim:

Sikkim is situated on the eastern flank of the Himalayas and is bounded by Bhutan in the east, Tibet in north, Nepal in the west and the state of west Bengal in the south. This former kingdom is home to three major population groups-The Lepchas, Bhutias and Nepalese- providing a colorful composite of cultures. Mt. Kanchanjunga, the third highest peak in the world at 8586 m. dominates the landscape and is revered as Sikkim's guardian deity. The variation in elevations gives Sikkim diverse climatic condition as a result of which Sikkim has a large variety of flora and fauna. Like- over 4000 varieties of wild flowers, rare trees and shrubs including 600 types of orchids. The places to visit are 'Gangtok' capital of Sikkim, Enchey monastery, Institute of Tibetology, Do- Drul Chorten and Rumtek monastery (24km drive from Gangtok) etc.

Day 01: Kathmandu -- Silguri.
(Flight to Biratnagar & drive to Silguri.)
Day 02: Silguri - Darjeeling.( P.M.: Sightseeing in Darjeeling.)
Day 03: Darjeeling -- Pemayantse.
Day 04: Pemayantse -- Rumtek -- Gangtok.
Day 05: Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok-- Kalingpong -- Phuntsoling.
Day 07: Phuntsoling--Thimpu.
Day 08: Thimpu --Punakha --Wandipurang.
Day 09: Wandipurang --Paro.
Day 10: Fly back Paro -- Kathmandu.
